Want to give back to a meaningful cause while earning PDUs? Join us for a few hours on Saturday, April 18, as we partner with RG Foods to support their mission of providing fresh, high-quality food to the Tulsa community and beyond.

About the Organization: RG Foods is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities and strengthening a resilient local food system across Oklahoma.

Mission: To improve the health and prosperity of Northeast Oklahoma through food-focused community programs that support local agriculture and increase access to fresh, nutritious foods throughout Tulsa and surrounding areas.

Why It Matters? Access to fresh food is essential for community health and well-being. Food represents connection, nourishment, and culture, yet many in Tulsa face limited access. Approximately 45% of residents have low access to fresh foods, and 17% live in food deserts where grocery stores offering fresh produce are not easily accessible. RG Foods is working to change that by expanding access and building a stronger, healthier community.

Event Details:

·       When: Saturday, April 18  

·       Location: Tulsa Farm Lab, 330 W 41st N, Tulsa, OK 74106 

·       Shift: 2 to 4 hours between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM 

·       Volunteer Activities: Mulching, weeding, planting, and harvesting 

·       PDUs Offered: Earn up to 4 PDUs based on hours volunteered
