About G.T. Bynum:
Elected as Tulsa’s 40th mayor in 2016, G.T. Bynum has led with a focus on data, innovation, and collaboration to strengthen Tulsa’s competitiveness and quality of life. His administration expanded the police force, advanced community policing, and launched programs like the Tulsa Sobering Center and Better Way to support public safety and social services. He established the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity, the Tulsa Equality Indicators report, and the New Tulsans Initiative to promote inclusion and equal opportunity.
